This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to join a school internationally acclaimed for the quality of its innovative practice.
The school receives visitors from the UK, Scandinavia, India and Australia who come to learn and share practice and we have strong links with the University of Bristol.
Learning is extremely well-resourced within a very high quality environment, the site having been extensively remodeled during recent years. ICT provision, especially with regard to the employment of hand-held devices for both learners and staff, is particularly impressive. The 4D immersive learning space within the school remains the largest installation of such technology in the UK.
The Mathematics Faculty is a strong team creating high quality and innovative practice in every classroom, which is engaging and satisfying for both staff and learners alike.
Through harnessing the potential of rich tasks and constant, accurate assessment, real mathematical expertise and the enduring dispositions of confidence and independent thinking are fostered in learners.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated, ambitious and dynamic individual who is an excellent classroom practitioner to join our Mathematics Faculty. This is a full time, permanent position and would be suitable for an NQT.
